John, I was your mother's Real Estate agent and also Barbara Banach's agent. That was how I met your mother. I remember when you came down and she was getting ready to move up to New York. I know she did not like cold weather and we often talked about it because I was also was from Upstate N. Y. I talked with Barbara yesterday and she told me that Marie had not been well. A very lovely lady and I know you will miss her. My best wishes to you all. Jean Seavers

My heart goes out to John and his family. No words can ever describe the love that is shared between a mother and her children, and no words can ever express the sympathy and loss of a mother's passing..
John, you have been my mentor, boss, and friend for many years. I will keep you in my heart for as long as I live.
May your mother find peace in the love and memories you all have and share about her.
God Bless you Marie,
Rest in Peace with the warmth and love of your family.
A friend..

I will always remember how Marie would love to get in her car and head out for the day to explore. I am sure her excursions brought her much satisfaction and was responsibly for all that energy she had. Whenever I would call or stop by, Marie had so much to share in our chats. What a delight to have had the privilege to know Marie.

My memories of my Dear Sister Marie are perhaps best expressed in these words taken from the poem "The Hearts Library".
THE HEARTS LIBRARY
Imagine if I was given one moment,
just a single slice of my past.
I could hold it close forever,
and that moment would always last.
I could choose a time of laughing,
a time of happiness and fun.
I could choose a time that tried me,
through everything I've done.
I sat and thought about what moment,
would always make me smile.
One that would always push me,
to walk that extra mile.
For me to only pick one moment,
to cherish, save and keep,
Is proving really difficult,
as I've gathered up a heap!
I've dug deep inside my heart,
found that place and looked inside,
there was room for lots of moments,
in fact hundreds if I tried.
All those wonderful memories
are embedded in my heart,
for all the moments spent with you,
before you had to part.
I can always look inside my heart,
pick a moment and watch it through,
My memories act as a promise,
I'll never ever forget you.
With so much love, your Sister Suzie
