Obituary of Pamela A. Montena

Bakers Mills: Pamela A. Montena, 56, of Barney Hill Rd., passed away peacefully Friday, December 5, 2014 at her home, surrounded by her loving family, following a courageous battle with cancer. Born May 12, 1958 in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of Marie Leone (Meade) Montena of North Creek and Milton D. Montena, Jr. of Wevertown. Besides spending time with her family, Pam enjoyed gardening and long walks in the woods, as well as reading in the sun. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her daughter, Sara Gregson and her companion, John Fabian of Bakers Mills; two brothers, Martin Montena of Queensbury, and Thomas Montena of Hudson Falls; and a sister, Nancy Morrison of Broadalbin. She also leaves behind a vast and loving extended family and faithful circle of friends. Friends may call on Pam’s family from 3 to 5 pm, Friday, December 12, 2014 at Alexander Funeral Home, 3809 Main St., Warrensburg. A memorial service to celebrate her beautiful life will immediately follow the visitation at 5 pm, Friday, at the funeral home, with Rev. Ronald Allen, of the Sodom Community Church, officiating.
