While I did not know Pamela, I do know her brother Marty and her dad from my time working the post office in Minerva and Wevertown.
Having had cancer myself, I know how devastating it is for everyone.

I am stunned and saddened by this loss. Pam was an integral part of my life. I would not be who I am today without the love, understanding, and support that I was blessed to receive from Pam and the whole Montena family. I can only hope that she knew how truly grateful I have always been for the many times we shared together. I will never forget her calm and caring nature and her great love of animals. I will never forget standing on her deck behind Montgomery Ward yelling "come here Go Away", calling one of the numerous stray dogs she adopted that she named
Go Away because it just wouldn't, no matter how many times she told it to. All living creatures have lost a comrade and my heart breaks.
