Warrensburg:
Clarence R. Alger, Sr., 93, of Burdick Ave., passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at home, surrounded by his loving family.
Born on April 13, 1925 in Thurman, he was the son of the late William and Anna (Potter) Alger.
He was a lifelong resident of the area and married Daisy J. Belden in 1968. She passed away in 2010 after 43 years together.
He was a lumberjack and paver in the area for many years.
Survivors include his son, Clarence Alger Jr. and his companion and caregiver, Mary Slingerland of Warrensburg, daughters, Mary Robinson of Warrensburg, Stormy Isabel of Fonda; grandchildren, David Jr., Christopher, April and Adam Robinson.
At Clarence’s request, there are no calling hours or funeral services scheduled.
Clarence will be greatly missed and may he rest in peace.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Alexander Funeral Home, Warrensburg.
