Obituary of Jonathan C. Brown
Please share a memory of Jonathan to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Allen, TX:
Our special angel, Jonathan Charles Brown, age 26, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2009. Born December 11, 1982, he succeeded despite life’s challenges, growing up to be a sweet and caring son, brother and friend to many.
Believing that it was better to give than to receive, he generously gave himself to his church, family, friends, various community organizations and church sponsored building projects for St. Jude Catholic Church and First Baptist Church of Allen, and was an active member for Habitat for Humanity.
Jonathan participated for many years in the Allen Special Olympics and touched so many people with his smile. He valued his time visiting the Adirondacks and fishing with family and friends and working alongside his brother on their cars. He was wise beyond his years and taught us all the value of friends and family. Jonathan will be greatly missed by all he touched.
Preceded in death by his grandfathers, Charles “Pappa” Brown and Richard Fruda. He is survived by his parents, Gary and Vicki Brown of Allen, Texas; brother, Nicholas Brown of Frisco, Texas; grandmothers, Sylvia Brown and Ruth Fruda of Warrensburg, New York; aunts: Andrea Hayes and her husband, Kevin of Warrensburg; Lisa Cowles and her husband, Michael of Lake Luzerne; Lori Durkin and her husband, Ray of Warrensburg; uncles: Richard Fruda and his wife, Denise of Warrensburg; Robert Brown and his wife, Amy of Queensbury; Michael and Peter Fruda of Warrensburg; along with several cousins.
