Obituary of Alex R. Alexander

Please share a memory of Alex to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
North Creek: Alex Robert Alexander, age 44, surrendered himself into the arms of the Lord and his parents, Thomas and Florence Alexander, on April 24, 2008. He was born and raised in North Creek, New York, a 1982 graduate of Johnsburg Central School, and a member of the US Navy from 1983 to 1988, where he earned his Associates Degree in Dental Science. At the time of his death Alex had resided in Ocean View in Norfolk, Virginia for ten years, where he was employed as a talented Dental Technician at Lab One. Alex left behind a brother and best friend, Guy J. Alexander, and four sisters, Cindy K. Morse, Kim M. Read, Mary J. Alexander Smith and Lisa A. Alexander, each of whom loved him with all of their heart, as well as his best buddy, Tinkerbelle (a Blue Fronted Amazon bird). He also left behind two brother-in-laws, Kevin Morse and Scott Read, and many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews as well as many friends, too numerous to count. In Ocean View, Virginia, where Alex enjoyed the tranquility and beauty of the sunrises and sunsets over Chesapeake Bay and fishing from his kayak, he was surrounded by many valuable friends, whom the family would like to extend a special thank you to for the understanding, support and companionship they gave to Alex’s brother and sisters when they traveled there to bring Al home. Join the Family of Alex Robert Alexander to share memories with them in a "Celebration of Life" on Saturday, May 17, 2008, 5:00 p.m. at The Inn on Gore Mountain in North Creek, NY (go to: www.innongore.com for directions.) The Family would also like to express their sincere thanks to all who have visited the guest books with their comforting words. Donations in Alex’s memory may be made to the charity of one’s choice. Please visit www.alexanderfuneralhomes.com for online guest book and condolences.
