Obituary of Dennis E. Barrack

Bolton Landing: Dennis E. Barrack, 50, of Edgecomb Pond Rd. passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, July 7, 2007 in Bolton Landing. Born March 9, 1957 in Manhasset, Long Island, he was the son of Eleanor (Dittrich) Barrack of Hudson, Florida and the late George Barrack. He moved to Bolton Landing about 18 years ago. Dennis lived a simple life. He worked in construction and than had his own house painting business. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and camping. He loved motorcycles and fast cars. He enjoyed skiing in the winter and kayaking in the summer with Justin Peppitone. Besides his father, his brother, Jeffrey Barrack also predeceased him. Survivors besides his mother, Eleanor are his brother, John Barrack of Bolton Landing; his sister, Cindy Theodoseau and her husband, Michael of Milford CT; nieces, Gillian Keleher and Taylor Barrack of Bolton Landing, Gwen Levin DVM of Bryan, Texas, Emily Theodoseau of Milford CT, and nephew, Nicholas Theodoseau of Milford CT. Friends may call on Dennis’s family from 6-8 pm Thursday evening at the Alexander-Baker Funeral Home, 3809 Main St., Warrensburg. A memorial service to celebrate his life will follow the visitation at the funeral home. Those in attendance are encouraged to participate by sharing fond memories of time spent with Dennis during the service. In lieu of flowers’ expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Bolton Vol. Fire Department, Bolton Landing, NY 12814.
