Obituary of Peggy S. Kennedy

Chestertown: Peggy S. Kennedy, 87, of Maple Lane, passed away peacefully, Sunday, February 21, 2016 at Adirondack Tri-Country Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. Born March 30, 1928 in Oxford, England, she was the daughter of the late Sydney Smith. Peggy was employed by Stacy’s Clothing in Trenton, New Jersey for many years. She was married to the late Thomas C. Kennedy; the couple spent 59 years together before his passing in 2005. She is survived by four sons, Robert, Richard, Roy, Randall, and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family members. At Peggy’s request there are no calling hours or funeral services scheduled. An internment service to celebrate her life will take place at 1:00 pm, Friday, February 26, 2016 at Gerald B.H. Solomon, Saratoga National Cemetery, in Schuylerville. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations in Peggy’s memory to Word of Life, c/o Thomas Kennedy Memorial Fund, PO Box 600, Schroon Lake, NY 12870; this allows under privileged children to attend bible camp.
