Lake George & North Creek:
Anthony H. Amadeo, 69, formerly of Lake George went into the arms of the Lord on August 16, 2010 at his beloved daughter’s home in North Creek.
Born on June 18, 1941 in Brooklyn, he was the son of the late Anthony and Theresa (Bower) Amadeo.
Anthony spent most of his adult life working in factories. In his spare time he enjoyed painting, drawing, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Anthony is survived by his daughter, Melissa Amadeo, and her children; Morgan Beswick, and Moriah Amadeo, all of North Creek; the mother of his daughter and long time friend, Linda Wheeler also of North Creek. He also leaves behind a very special friend, whom helped him throughout his illness, Leon Ramsey of Glens Falls; along with many other close friends.
Anthony will be missed for his smile and sense of humor.
Anthony’s family would like to express their gratitude towards High Peaks Hospice and Dr. James Hicks, who have helped immensely, as well as everyone that has prayed for him and/or came to visit with him, as it meant so much to him.
Upon Anthony’s request there will be no calling hours scheduled.
