Obituary of Brenda B. Morehouse
JOHNSBURG: Brenda “Frasier” Morehouse 67 years old of Hudson St., Johnsburg, NY passed away on December 7, 2024 at her home with her family by her side.
Born January 22, 1957 to the late Arnold and Elizabeth (Mattison) Frasier. She was one of 16 children. Brenda resided in Johnsburg through her life. She was married to Edmund Morehouse Sr. on May 24, 1980 and was married for 44 years. She worked at Colonial Manor most of her life. She also worked at Lake George Forum, Wild West Ranch, Mario’s Restaurant, Westmount Health Facility and Gore Mountain Ski Area.
Brenda was a very loving, caring and passionate person. She made friends wherever she went. She took pride in the work she did, took great pride in her family and was there for them whenever they needed her. She loved to play the family card game King Peed and also loved to play dice.
Brenda was predeceased by both her parents, her brothers; Darwin, Julius, Charlie, Gary and Gil Frasier. She is also predeceased by sisters; Gerturde Morehouse, Irene Millington, Ella Jean, August, and Shirley Fraiser. Brenda also had two grandchildren predecease her, Sophia Baker and Lilly Frasier.
Left to cherish her memories is her husband Edmund Morehouse Sr.; brothers Arlin and Allen Frasier; sisters Rose Moulton, Judy Vernum and Sharon Moon; her children Darwin Frasier, Amy (Bryan) Hoolihan, Edmund Morehouse Jr., and Mary (David) Morehouse; grandchildren Mariah, Allen, Austin, Thomas, Colby, Quintin and Kasey; great grandchildren Samuel, Grace, Ivory, Ryder, Renesmae, Emmet, Payton, Waylon and Allen Jr. Also left to cherish her memory is several brother and sister-in-law’s, nieces and nephews.
A heartfelt thank you goes to her husband, Edmund, and her daughters, Amy and Mary, for their loving care and dedication in honoring her wishes. Brenda’s family would also like to thank High Peaks Hospice, Dr. Gallaher and Dr. Yun.
Friends are invited to call on Brenda’s family on Thursday, December 12, 2024 from 11am – 1pm, Alexander Funeral Home, 3809 Main Street, Warrensburg, NY. A funeral service will be held following visitation at 1pm, with burial at Bates Cemetery in Johnsburg, NY.
