Carol, Kalista, Sarah, and "Mrs. Hoover" (I can't call you Sheila!!), I wanted to let you know how sorry I am to hear of "Mr. Hoover's" passing. What a figure he is in my childhood!!! I can still hear him saying "quit your bellyaching!" My memories of hiking and and skiing will always include him, and also staying at your house when my parents went away. And of course the annual camping trip to Harris Lake, and your camp at Sacandaga! I keep thinking of more as I'm writing, and I cherish each memory and the presence of Mr. Hoover in all of them.
