As one of the few remaining members of Ted's Russian Language Program @ Syracuse University let me take this opportunity to extend most heartfelt condolences to Ted's extended family. Ted was far from the most serious student but he seemed to retain Russian vocabulary more easily than most of us. He was highly active in our extracurricular activities and spent many hours at the Syracuse USO. Since his home turf was so near Syracuse Ted was able to visit his hometown relatives and friends much more often than the rest of us. While he only served one tour of duty in the US Air Force he performed a vital role in helping this nation win the Cold War with the USSR without a shot ever being fired! We boys of summer from 1959 are now little more than relics of yesteryear and all too soon will take our turn marching into history. Before Alzheimer's limited his mental acuity and physical dexterity Ted was a regular and contributing member of an On-Line exchange program initiated almost 20 years ago. From a high of 29 participants the number has fallen to as few as 5-7 and Dawne has communicated on behalf of Ted for upwards of two years. On behalf of our little band of USAF brothers I shall now close with a virtual snappy salute and heartfelt acknowledgement of a life well-lived! May God grant you the peace and eternal rest that you have so richly deserved.

Ted, was a first cousin to me, he was a great friend and we had many memories when we where teens, I will miss him forever, I send my sympathy to all of his family & friends.
