Warrensburg:

Ada Regina (Monroe) Cleveland, 87,  passed away November 25, 2023 to be with her parents and her siblings.

She was the last of the Monroe children to take their journey to be with her beloved husband, John G. Cleveland.

Born in beautiful Brant Lake to the late Richard Monroe and Cora (Raymond) Monroe she is predeceased by her husband and her siblings, James Monroe, Donnie Monroe, Clifford Monroe, Arnold Monroe, Robert Monroe, the twin boys Burton Monroe and Bernard Monroe, Theresa Monroe and Dorothy Monroe.

She is survived by her children, John Jay Cleveland of West Virginia, Carole Cleveland of Warrensburg, and Amy Joy Cleveland. She leaves behind a granddaughter, Sarah Lee Cleveland, (grandma's apple of her eye and that Sarah could do no wrong), three grandson's, Mathew Monroe of Warrensburg,  Tristan Witherbee, Shawn Witherbee of  Monticello Kentucky; and one great-grandson, Preston Dewar of Chestertown.

Mom was a very talented cook and took great pride in her spotless home, a trait handed down by her mother. Mom never measured when it came to.cooking, she just knew how much to use. She loved her Big Red gum, romance novels, and her soap operas. When she was at Countryside Adult Home she loved watching Faye give the bird a bath, and listening to country music.

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be conducted at a time to be announced this summer.
