Obituary of Larry A. Denton

Please share a memory of Larry to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Larry A. Denton of Tripp Lake Rd, passed away due to a long battle of cancer on Saturday 11/11/23

Born November 4,1960 in Glens Falls, he was the son of Clara (Moffitt) Denton of Chestertown.

Larry was an avid outdoorsman and was in the logging industry with his brother Robert, where they formed R&L Logging together. You could find Larry head to toe covered in grease at the garage or hometown with his boys who was always a phone call away. Larry’s pride and joy included his girl’s, grandchildren and Family. He was the kind of guy that would give his shirt off his back for anyone, he had the biggest heart. If Larry wasn’t at hometown or working under a truck, you could find him in his chair watching wresting or westerns, on warmer days you could find him in the garden or pushing his grandchildren on the tire swing. He will be missed by so many.

He is predeceased by his mother Clara Denton and beloved brother Robert Denton, and his loyal four pawed companion Cheyenne.

He is survived by his siblings Lori Denton, Ken Denton, Joe Denton and his wife Jill, Jamie Oliver and her husband John.
His Children Mandy Cook and her husband Waylon, Anne Griffin and her husband Paul, Angie Brown and her husband Tim, Danielle Morehouse her husband Kyle. Best Friend Jermey Moffitt and his wife Jane, Baylee Smith (one of his girls) and her companion Travis Bishop; Grandchildren include Mckenna Cook, Brooke Corey and Wyatt Griffin, Austin and Carmella Simione, Abbie and Aundrey Morehouse, Brantley Bishop. as well as several nieces and nephews Chris and John Oliver, Mike Tyrell and his wife Sarah, Gregory Tyrell and his wife Jolene, Chris Tyrell and his wife Keisha, Levi and Nick Murphy, Elizabeth Ramsey and Alex Lanfear.
