Obituary of Robert E. Hart
Pottersville:
Robert E. “Bobby” Hart, Jr., 57, of Old Schroon Road, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at Glens Falls Hospital following a long illness.
Born March 28, 1966 in Schenectady, he was the son of the late Robert and Linda (Stanton) Hart.
Bobby worked at Sunrise Camp in Pottersville for many years and was also an honorary member of the Pottersville Fire Company.
He was a devoted husband to the love of his life, his wife, Colleen (Wishart) Hart for 28 years.
Bobby enjoyed hunting, fishing, cookouts, BINGO, gardening, and above all, spending time with his family and friends.
Besides his parents, he is predeceased by his niece, Kara Lea Hart; brother, Jonathan Hart; and cousin, Barbara VanBuren.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Colleen Hart, whom he married on October 14, 1995; his siblings, Shirley Finch, Christopher Hart (Peggy), Adam Hart (Gwen); sister-in-law, Kim Hart; nephews, Christopher Hart II, Zachery Hart, Cordell Hart, Carter Hart, Haiden Hart, and Robert Summers; nieces, Kimiya Hart, Molly Finch, Keira Hart, Sydney Hart, Willow Hart, and Jennifer Blackman. He is also survived by numerous great nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and his longtime family friend, Laura Eklund.
Friends may call on Bobby’s family from 3 to 5 pm, Monday, October 9, 2023 at the Alexander Funeral Home, 3809 Main St., Warrensburg.
A memorial service to celebrate his life will immediately follow the visitation at 5 pm, at the funeral home.
