Obituary of Susan M. Isaacs

Please share a memory of Susan to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

WARRENSBURG: Susan M. Isaacs, of Warrensburg, NY passed away peacefully, yet unexpectedly on September 5, 2023 at her residence.

Susan was born on December 9, 1965 at Glens Falls Hospital. Susan grew up in Thurman, NY and lived her adult life in Warrensburg, NY.  Susan received her GED and went on to attend nursing school.

Throughout the past 26 years, Susan was employed as unit secretary on Tower 3 at Glens Falls Hospital. When not working, Susan enjoyed taking in the beauty of our two local rivers, the Schroon and Hudson Rivers. Feeding her birds brought immense pleasure yet so did scaring away the squirrels with her air horn. Planting flowers, visiting Old Orchard Beach in Maine, and baking her famous brownies and pumpkin pies was among other favorite pastimes.  Most importantly, Susan cherished her time spent with her grandchildren.

Predeceasing Susan is her mother June Germain and daughter Samantha (Isaacs) Salem.

Left to cherish her memory is her father Lawrence (Carol) Germain; daughter’s Hilary (Tori) Vaughn, Pamela Isaacs and Gabby (Wade Brown Jr.) Isaacs; sister’s Charlene (David) Woods and Patti Germain; brother John (Amy) Germain; her beloved grandchildren Austin Isaacs, Alexis Ingalls, Caitlyn Hall, James Ingalls III, Owen Vaughn, Karlisa Vaughn, Tyler Vaughn, Bradley Morehouse, Kole Vaughn and Evan Morehouse; great grandson Karter Wilson and several nephews.

Donations in Susan’s name can be made to North Shore Animal League America – Adirondack Region Cat Adoption Center, 115 Maple Street, Glens Falls, NY 12801
