Obituary of Miguel Angel Lopez

CHESTERTOWN: Miguel A. Lopez, 82, formally of Mississippi, passed away after a long illness on July 7, 2023, surrounded by the love of his sister and brother-in-law.
Miguel was born January 4, 1941 to the late Ruben Cintron and the late Joaquina (Alemany) Lopez in Puerto Rico.
After high school Miguel joined the United States Air Force, where he proudly served his country for twenty years, retiring as Master Sergeant. Once retiring and leaving Alaska, which was his favorite location to be stationed, Miguel moved back to Mississippi. Retiring from the Airforce brought a new career, truck driving, which took Miguel on many adventures over the next twenty years. When not working, Miguel raised beautiful cockatiels, some thirty at a time.
Besides his parents, Miguel is predeceased by his late wife Wanda Lou Lopez.
Left to cherish Miguel’s memory is a son Michael Lopez; a daughter Jackie Wheeler; sisters Sandra (Bill) Clark and Mildred Cintron; brother Danny (Belinda) Lopez and grandchildren Thomas Wheeler and Mercedes Wheeler.
