Dear Karen and Family,
So very sorry for your loss, and so very thankful for your friendship. Through your friendship, I had the pleasure of meeting your dad. The following is a letter I’ve address to your dad which I would like to share:
Dear Mr. June,
Although I did not know you for long, I was fortunate to have crossed your path. Upon meeting you, I initially sensed a warm, welcoming nature. This gentleness was sprinkled with a delightful twinkle in your blue eyes. Additionally, your sense of humor was refreshing. I knew you were the kind of person it felt good to be around. May your gracious spirit, always live on in others, as an unexpected, charming gift from you.
