Thomas L. Dawson, 71, of Glens Falls, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 27, 2022.
Born in Pottstown, PA on August 21, 1950, he was the son of the late Leland and Velma Dawson. He graduated from Owen J. Roberts High School in Pennsylvania. Tom enjoyed working on and restoring cars. He worked most of his adult life on maintenance and repair of heavy equipment.
Tom is survived by his two children, Thomas L Dawson Jr. and his wife Catherine, of Wilton, NY, and Susan R. Dawson of King, NC. He is also survived by his granddaughters, Cadence Dawson and Abigail Dawson, who knew him as “Pappy”. Survivors also include his two sisters, Marsha Dawson of New Holland, PA and Kay Vogt of Pottstown, PA, his niece, Gretchen Radswillas, and his nephews, Brad and Troy Vogt.
The family will be having a private service.
Memorial donations can be made to the American Foundation For The Blind, in honor of Tom’s father, Lee.
