Obituary of Dale Heath Rapp

Dale H. Rapp July 2, 1952 – February 10, 2022 FORT EDWARD: Dale Heath Rapp, 69, of Fort Edward, NY, son of the late Archie and Nellie (Heath) Rapp, passed away at Glens Falls Hospital on February 10, 2022. Dale was born on July 2, 1952 in Glens Falls, NY and graduated from Glens Falls High School. After high school he made his way up north to Brant Lake where he lived for 20 years. Dale was a machine operator at Finch Paper for 10 years. When not working, he had many hobbies including classic cars, flying rc planes, photography, hunting, fishing and horse riding. Dale was a fireman with Horicon Fire Department beginning in 1979 and serving for 10 years. All of these hobbies could not measure up to his favorite one, being grandpa. He was over the moon for his grandchildren, “JadaBada” and Owen. Sadly, Dale lost his memory before meeting Owen however he lit up every time Owen visited him in the nursing home. He became more alive with his interaction and play with Owen than with anyone else. Dale is survived by his beloved daughters Kristalee and Janelle Rapp; stepson Todd Pidgeon and stepdaughter Stephanie Pidgeon.
