Warrensburg: Barbara (Bobbie Ann) McKee, 74, of Oak Street, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at Glens Falls Hospital following a long illness. Born July 27, 1946 in Tupper Lake, she was the daughter of Alice (Harvey) Parent of Warrensburg and the late Pat Parent. Barbara attended catholic school in Tupper Lake and worked for many years as a medical secretary. Barbara’s favorite pastimes were camping on Lake Champlain and traveling to casinos on the east coast. She is predeceased by her loving father, her son Kevin and her beloved brother Dwayne Parent of Tennessee. Barbara is survived by her treasured husband of 41 years, Richard (Dick) McKee of Warrensburg; her daughter, Vicki Hunter and her husband, John of Greenwich; her devoted grandchildren, Casey Hunter and Joe Hunter of Greenwich who brought her so much joy and love. She is also survived by her loving mother Alice Parent of Warrensburg; brother, Bruce (Shirley) Parent of Queensbury and Bob (Terry) Parent of Queensbury. She also leaves behind her dear friend of many many years, Kathy Monroe (Dave) who she enjoyed many adventures with over the years. A small private family gathering is planned for a later date at Barbara’s request. There are no services at this time. Her family would like to give special thanks to her caregiver Sue Prosser who became a dear family friend and took such wonderful care of her.
