I didnt have her as a teacher but I had the utmost respect for her.. I remember I was in Mrs Geraghtys class when I saw Mike McKinney come thru the wall between the classes. It was epic and she never had a problem with any kids !!!
Miss Spencer (Barbara as she later insisted I call her), was my favorite teacher. When I returned to Warrensburg many years later, she became my very dear friend, and in some ways, took care of me. My condolences to her family, she will be greatly missed.

I had the privilege of being Barb’s pastor for 12 years at Warrensburg Assembly of God. She was a humble and faithful servant of the Lord Jesus Christ who assisted countless Individuals and charities and was very faithful serving in the church. She loved to sing hymns and choruses with her beautiful alto voice and she loved the beautiful Adirondacks where she spent her life. When Barb made a promise to someone, she fulfilled it no matter what. Be assured that she now sings in the place of incomparable beauty, Heaven! Our sympathy and prayers for her family.

Ms. Spencer was my teacher and my father's as well. After having her as a teacher I kept in touch VIA handwritten letters over the years. She was a wonderful woman who inspired many. I was lucky to have had the chance to get to know more of her over the years. My deepest condolences go out to her family, she will be missed.

Miss Spencer was my 5th grade teacher at Warrensburg School . She was a kind and caring teacher she not only cared about you as a student but, as a person. My condolences to all the family members. I’m so sorry for you loss.
Still at 64 years old can see this wonderful caring teacher! She looked for the gifts in her students and encouraged us onward! So blessed to have spent a whole year with her!
