My fond memories of Linda began over 60 years ago when she worked summers at The North Woods Club - she was always smiling, kind and fun! Whenever I saw in subsequent years, she was exactly the same and the wonderful pictures that Heather posted totally captured her personality. The world needs more Lindas and she will be missed by many. Jim and I are thinking of all of her family and friends during this sad and painful time.

Judging from the outpouring of feelings for Linda, I can see that everyone else feels the same way I do about Linda; she was so nice that you felt better just being around her. I am so glad I came to know her so well over many years, and the chemistry she had with her zany husband Buckshot was priceless. Tom, you are a lucky man to have married a woman as forgiving and with as good a sense of humor as she had, and to have shared so many wonderful years together.
Like the knight guarding the Holy Grail said to Indiana Jones in The Last Crusade, "You have chosen wisely". I know you will carry on, but please accept my most sincere best wishes, and hopefully your adoring family and friends will help you along. FYI, I am attaching a family portrait I took of my daughter Emily and her husband Shawn and their three kids (Cara, Jay and Tessa), plus my son Andy and his wife Natalia and son Mateo from last Christmas. We all wish you all the best.

Linda has always been an "all weather friend" during the many years we worked together at the LGPC and afterwards. She was an inspiration to the many people who knew her. She made the world a better and kinder place. Family was everything to Linda and my heartfelt condolences and prayers go out to them. She will be greatly missed by those who's many lives she touched. Buckshot, Vicky, Heather, and Kiely. Please accept my sincerest condolences over the loss of Linda, a good wife and mother. Since 1973 Linda always had a place at her table when this young deputy was in town. Over the years Linda kept me up to date on all of you. She was a joy to work with whenever I called or visited the Park Commission Office. I was shocked at the notice of her passing. I'm sure she will be made a saint in heaven if even half of the antics that Tom did were true.
