My deepest sympathy at the passing of this wonderful woman. She was one of my favorite teachers. After a very bad school year, a couple of years before, she was one of the people who showed me that school was an opportunity to broaden horizons. Mozell was an associate of my late husband Paul Van Dyke for many years at Warrensbury Central. I enjoyed knowing her so much. In my last conversation with her at the home in Warrensburg she told me how happy she was to be able to read and enjoy life. I will miss her. Always loved her accent!

She was always one my "coolest" aunts and we always had so much fun whenever we visited.
Our girls and I have memories of a trip taken many years ago to the Expo in Canada. Mozell went with us. As we were looking at exhibits, Mozell tried to point out some mountain goats on a side hill that the girls couldn't quite see. She said in that wonderful southern accent "You're lookin' but you're not seein'"
A great lady with a mind of her own who loved children.
