Obituary of Louise A. Clardy

Johnsburg: Louise A. Clardy, 88 passed away peacefully Friday, January 5, 2007 at her home surrounded by her family. Born April 28, 1918, in Johnsburg, Louise was a lifelong resident of the area. She was the daughter of the late Alice and Ernest Millington. On June 6, 1945 she married Karl M. Clardy in Florida after his honorable discharge from the United States Army. Louise retired from the Hill Corporation in Warrensburg after many years of service. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting and sewing. Her favorite pastime was spending quality time with her family, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband of 58 years Karl M. Clardy, her sister Jessie Haire and two brothers Dale and Ralph Millington. Survivors include her son Karl “Bobby” Clardy and his wife, Joyce of Johnsburg, her daughters Lois Montfort and her husband, Bill of Johnsburg, Rose Lamy and her husband, Fred of Warrensburg, Margaret Savage of Warrensburg and Donna LaVergne and her husband, Bob of Johnsburg. Her brother Morgan Morehouse of Warrensburg; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours scheduled.
