Julia K. Palubniak, 81, a longtime resident of Fanwood, NJ, passed away, Tuesday, December 26, 2006 at the Adirondack Tri-County Health Care Center in North Creek, NY.
Born October 19, 1925 in Jersey City, she was the daughter of the late Stephan and Pauline Kot.
She and her husband of 65 years, Peter Palubniak resided in Fanwood for over 40 years, where Julia worked as a food service manager at Mount Saint Mary Academy for Girls in Watchung.
The couple retired to Chestertown, NY in 2004.
Besides her husband, survivors also include her son, Russell and his family of Chestertown, NY; her two grandsons, James and Jesse Palin of Texas, and many nieces and nephews in New Jersey.
Friends may call on Julia’s family from 5-7 pm this evening (Thursday, December 28, 2006) at the Alexander-Baker Funeral Home, 3809 Main St., Warrensburg.
Graveside services will take place at 10 am Friday in Chester Rural Cemetery, Chestertown, NY with Fr. Robert Limpert of the Adirondack Missions officiating.
Memorials may take the form of donations to your local SPCA.
