Mary P. Axt, 82, of Westmount Health Facility, formerly of Remsen, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 26, 2010 at the Glens Falls Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
Born on May 9, 1928 in Utica, she was the daughter of the late James and Susan (Stroop) Herring.
Besides spending time with her family, she had a great passion for painting, gardening, and reading. She also enjoyed the great company from her dog, Abby.
She is survived by her son, Steve Ulrich and his wife, Wendy of Canastota; daughter, Joan Roberts and her husband, Dean of Diamond Point; her grandchildren, Lindsey Rosenfeld and her husband, Josh of Oneonta; Dustin Ulrich of Lake Placid; Dana Roberts of Diamond Point; and Lynsey Roberts of Diamond Point. She is also survived by her great granddaughter, Sydney Grace Rosenfeld of Oneonta.
At Mary’s request, services are to be conducted privately at the convenience of the family.
