Obituary of Edward L. Fuller

Warrensburg Edward L. Fuller, 91, of Woodward Ave., passed away, Wednesday, August 6, 2008 at the Glens Falls Hospital after a long illness. Born February 12, 1917 in North Creek, he was the son of the late Taylor and Elizabeth (Waddell) Fuller. Ed served in the US Navy aboard the USS Cowle during WW II. Upon his return from serving his country, he married Janet Daly on December 27, 1945 in Westbrook, Maine. Coach Fuller began his career at Johnsburg Central School. He coached and taught physical education in Pottersville for many years and retired from North Warren Central School in 1975 after teaching for 31 years. He also coached Pottersville Little League teams for many years. The couple moved to Warrensburg in 1984 so they could be closer to his beloved Adirondack Red Wings Hockey Team. He served on the North Warren School Board and wrote for the Adirondack Journal-sports page. Ed leaves behind his wife, Janet of 62 years; his son, Thomas W. Fuller and his wife, Amy of Chestertown; his daughter, Debbie Graves of Glens Falls; grandchildren, Kelly Seeley and her husband, Scott, Erin Honeywell and her husband, Rob, Joseph Shields and his wife, Nikki, and Sarah Fuller, and numerous great grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Friends may call from 2-5 pm Sunday afternoon at the Alexander-Baker Funeral Home, 3809 Main St., Warrensburg. Funeral services will be conducted 11 am, Monday at the Warrensburg First United Methodist Church, 3890 Main Street, Warrensburg , with Rev. Dawn Robbins, Pastor officiating.
