Warrensburg/Glens Falls:
Virginia “Ginny” Sue Latham, 71, formerly of Warrensburg, passed away, Monday, February 28, 2017 at her home in Glens Falls. Another dear member of this family gone to be with her Heavenly family.
Born September 26, 1945 in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of the late Fredrick Latham and Ruth (Millington) Trenary.
Ginny was a graduate of Warrensburg Central School and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Warrensburg, where she had taught Sunday school. She enjoyed reading and was very artistic. She was avid in sewing and knitting. She was a very good cook and cared for animals.
Ginny will always be remembered by all who met and knew her.
In addition to her parents, Ginny is predeceased by a sister, Edna Jo “Shilo” Latham; brother, John Latham; nephew, Michael McNeill; brother-in-law, Gerald McNeill, Sr.; step-father, Hugh Trenary; uncle, William Millington; and her aunt, Rachael Millington.
She is survived by two sisters, Ethel Desjardin and her husband, Gil, of Vermont, and Linda McNeill of Warrensburg; nephews, Gordon, Fred, Gerald Jr., and Bryan; a great-niece, Stephanie McNeill and her child, Ayla; a great-nephew, James McNeill; sister-in-law, Debbie Latham and her children, Jeffrey, Jason and Katrina Latham. Ginny is also survived by our cousin, Carolyn Dorrance, and her children, Amy Harris with Craig, and Beth Winchip with Bret.
There will be no calling hours.
Graveside services will be announced in the spring, and held in Warrensburg Cemetery.
