She married the love of her life, Robert J. Holford on July 6, 1946 in Ringwood, NJ. The couple enjoyed an active, social lifestyle, and traveling with family and friends; they spent 45 years together before Robert’s untimely passing in 1992.
Dot was the office manager and bookkeeper for her family’s business, F. Englert Dyeing, Co., in New Jersey. Following her retirement in 1986, she relocated to North Creek.
She was a feisty, adventuresome, free spirited, nature lover, who enjoyed making people laugh, as well as being an avid gardener, who loved bird watching and reading; Dottie lived a good life.
