Johnsburg:
Patricia J. Babineau, 92, formerly of Garnet Lake Road, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at the Adirondack Tri-County Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
Born October 31, 1921 in New York City, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Margaret (Flynn) Murray.
Following her high school graduation, Pat enlisted in the U.S. Coast Guard, where she met the love of her life, Norman Babineau.
The couple eventually wed and enjoyed 42 blissful years together until his passing on October 20, 1986.
She was employed as a secretary at Joe Cates Production Company in New York for many years, giving her the opportunity to meet and befriend several famous celebrities; She was invited to many of their personal events.
Upon her retirement, the couple relocated to the North Creek area in the late 1970’s.
Besides her parents and beloved husband, Norman, Pat is predeceased by her siblings.
She is survived by her longtime friends, the Heid family, whom she considered her family, as well as several nieces and nephews.
At Pat’s request, there are no calling hours scheduled.
A graveside service to celebrate her life will be conducted 11 am, Monday, November 18, 2013 in St. James Cemetery, North Creek.
