Our deepest sympathy to Rita and the entire Holland family. David was my mother's cousin, and beloved nephew of the Huddleston family. I have many memories of David, especially his good nature and strength of a character. A good man, to be truly missed by all. May the cherished memory of the loved and lost assuage your bereavement, and keep David's memory green in the hearts of all he touched. Rest in peace David. We keep the Holland Family in our thoughts and prayers...

Very sad to hear of David's passing he was a great guy with a big heart. My mom's cousin, he came to camp a few times, I remember being a little guy and watching in awe as he called in the bears. I remember thinking he was a real woodsman and how if I ever got lost in the woods, he would be the one to come and find me. He will be truely missed. RIP David...

I will surely miss my "Neighbor On The Point". Bear was a fine man. He was alwways there to help when he could and to give good advice when he couldn't. He always there with a hug and a smooch which always made one feel just a little younger and put a smile on your face.
Bear & his family treated me with thoughtfulness & kindness. They also served up some very fine meals and fed me many times.
I know he is happy where he has gone and the fact that he is no longer ill and in pain is the very best one could wish for him.
God Bless You, Bear, we will miss you.
