My condolences to the entire Fisher family. I've known Marie my entire life. She was a wonderful, caring woman. I have many memories of Marie, including fishing at the river behind her house at a church picnic. Later in life, she would always ask about my parents and my children, everytime we would meet. Marie, jokingly, would even remind me that I had to be good to her, when she she was at the Stanton for rehab. I will miss Marie very much. God Bless.

Her son Mike was my best friend and golf partner. She had to put up with his antics. He was her son. But she put up with mine too. I will miss her. John Downes Burke

I worked with Marie for many years and one could not ask for a more genteel lady. She was helpful if you needed help and would go out of her way to make sure you got the best possible answers to your question. She was an accomplished artist and did some fine work on the history of Warrensburg. Her musical talent was amazing and a joy to hear. I am sure that she was one in a thousand and will be sorely missed.

I have so many wonderful memories of Mrs. Fisher both in school and out. I was lucky enough to have known both her and her husband when I was a kid. She was so kind and gracious. I loved the way her laugh just seemed to tumble out of her like a spilled vase of flowers.

My deepest condolences to the Fisher family. Mrs Fisher was an icon around Warrensburv for years. Working in the school was where I had the most contact. She always had a smile and a good word. Warrensburgh has lost another local treasure. Marie was a talented artist whose sketchbook of the historic architecture of Warrensburgh will be a resource for all of those who care about the evolution of our hamlet as seen through its' architectural heritage. Thank you for preserving our past for our future.
