Obituary of Kathleen D. Bills

Warrensburg: Kathleen D. Bills, 60, of State Route 28, passed away peacefully Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at Glens Falls Hospital, following a long illness. Born August 10, 1954 in Middlesex, CT, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Dorothy (Sheldon) Hick. Kathy was a nurse at Adirondack Tri-Country Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, as well as Glens Falls Hospital. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, the ocean, cooking, socializing with her friends, and caring for her cat "Cleffy". In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Marion LePlanche, and a grandson, Daniel Bills. She is survived by four sons, Francois LeVasseur and his wife, Cheryl, of Hudson Falls, Charles LeVasseur and his companion, Kim Weiss, of Gansevoort, James Bills and his wife, Crystal, of Warrensburg, and Christian Bills and his companion, Heather Lynn Baker, also of Warrensburg; a daughter, Amanda Denno and her husband, Albert of Brant Lake; two brothers, George Kiaffas of Cortland, and James Kiaffas and his wife, Linda, of Deep River, CT; grandchildren, Ryan Murray, Ryan Gregory, Faith LeVasseur, Amelia Weiss, Charlize LeVasseur, Austin Bills, Ahnalie Bills, Devon Millington, Hunter Denno, and Chase Denno; and her four legged grandkids, Titus and Bella. She also leaves behind several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends. At Kathy’s request there will be no calling hours or funeral services scheduled. Kathy’s family would like to extend their appreciation and a special thank you to all of the nurses, doctors, aids, and health care staff that cared for her during her illness.
