Bruce, Brian and Bradley...how sorry I am to here of your Dad's passing. I grew up just up the hill from you on Elizabeth Street and I remember many days wandering down to your house to see what Mr and Mrs Higgins were up to. Your Mom was often busy planting or tending to flowers and your Dad puttering about with something. I pray he is at peace and fishing somewhere on the shores of Heaven. Know that many people were touched by his example over the course of his life...I was one of them. Prayers of peace are with you all as you mourn your loss.

To Bruce, Brian and Bradley: I started working for Gene Sexton in 1960 at The Lake George Garage and worker with Bob until 1967. It was during the time I got to know your Dad not only as a co-worker and friend but later as my boss. I'm very sorry for your loss and my thoughts and prayers are with you all at this very sad time. I have learned over the years that God is always in control of our lives and His grace is offered freely to us in time of need. When the sad days come call on Him for His comfort. God bless you boys your Dad was a great example for you to follow.

These last few months really made me realize that most of what I am, I inherited from you. No words could ever express my gratitude.
I love you and miss you.

Was very saddened to hear of Bob's passing. He seemed kind of indestructible to me. Saw him a couple of time this past summer and each time he was working on some project around the house and lamenting not fishing.
At least now, he gets reunited with Eleanor and maybe, just maybe gets to go fishing with my dad again.
