Bolton Landing: Jeffrey A. Baroudi, 66, of Potter Hill Road, passed away peacefully, Saturday, December 9, 2017 at his home following a courageous battle with cancer. Born October 4, 1951 in Glens Falls, he was the son of the late Nicholas and Esther (Baroody) Baroudi. He was a lifelong resident of the area and graduated from Johnsburg Central School, Class of 1971. Following his graduation, he furthered his education at Plattsburgh State College, earning his Masters Degree in Education. He immediately returned to his Alma Mater, Johnsburg Central School where he taught and coached for 35 years. Jeff was a man who truly embraced his community, serving as a volunteer firefighter and EMT with the North Creek Fire Department for 25 years and as Fire Chief for 5 years. During the summer months, he worked for the Town of Johnsburg and also, the JTPTA Adolescent Youth Program. Besides spending time with his family, he enjoyed a good round of golf with his good friends at Cronin’s Golf Resort. He loved boating on Lake George, but dabbled in everything from gardening to cooking. He is survived by his loving wife, Eilene of Bolton Landing; his children, Nicholas (Kristie) Baroudi, Colleen Baroudi (Dave Bengle), Lindsay (Tim) Byrne, Kathleen (Fraser) Tibbetts; his grandson, Luke Nicholas; brother, John Michael Baroudi; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends. Friends may call on Jeff’s family from 4 to 7 pm, Thursday, December 14, 2017 at the Alexander Funeral Home, 3809 Main St, Warrensburg. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am, Friday, at St. James Roman Catholic Church, Main St., North Creek with Fr. John O’Kane, officiating. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the North Creek Volunteer Fire Department, PO Box 112, North Creek, NY 12853.
