Obituary of Marjorie W. Jeror

North Creek: Marjorie Wren Jeror, 85, of State Route 28N, passed away Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Adirondack Tri-County Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. Born May 6, 1931 in Hudson Falls, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Marjorie (LaDeau) Wren. She attended St. Mary’s Catholic School in Hudson Falls, graduating in 1948. Marjorie worked faithfully as a cook at Adirondack Tri-County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, retiring after 26 years of service. She was also Treasurer for the North Creek Fire Company Auxiliary for over 25 years. Besides spending time with her family, she enjoyed baking, quilting, as well as giving back to her community by volunteering for many local organizations. In addition to her parents, Marjorie is predeceased by two infant children and her daughter, Cynthia Louise Burgess. She is survived by her beloved husband of 19 years, William Jeror of North Creek; children, Patricia Ann Cheney and her husband, Charles of Fayetteville, Christopher Burgess and his wife, Vanessa of Wesley Chapel, FL, and Marjorie Dewhirst and her husband, Paul III of Seattle, WA; her previous husband, John W. Burgess of Indian Lake; her grandchildren, Paul, Jr., Stephanie, Arianne, Tasha, Walter, John and Don; as well as several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Friends may call on Marjorie’s family from noon to 2 pm, Saturday, May 6, 2017 at the Alexander Funeral Home, 3809 Main St, Warrensburg. A memorial service to celebrate her life will immediately follow the visitation at 2 pm, at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations in Marjorie’s memory to Adirondack Tri-County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
