Obituary of Londa D. Kenyon

North Creek: Londa D. Kenyon, 73, of Ridge Street, passed away peacefully in her sleep, Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at her home following a long illness. Born October 15, 1945 in Ticonderoga, she was the daughter of the late Forest and Irene (Davis) Harvey. She was a lifelong resident of the area and married Paul Kenyon October 13, 1973 at the Warrensburg Presbyterian Church. Londa was a well-known face about the community and worked as a waitress at the Garnet Hill Lodge in North River and the White Pine Diner in Wevertown for many years. She was an excellent cook, she loved family gatherings and was always the life of the party. She was a very outgoing woman with a great sense of humor and will be missed by her family and friends. Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her siblings, Barbara Stetson and Robert Harvey. She is survived by her beloved husband of 45 years, Paul Kenyon of North Creek; her son, David Tucker of North Creek; siblings, Alice Parent of Warrensburg, Thelma “Stubby” McConnell of Kingsbury, Helen Lawrence of North River, and Patricia Harvey of North Creek; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. At Londa’s request, there are no calling hours or funeral services scheduled. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be conducted privately at the convenience of her family.
