Smith and Josephine (Bolton) Smith Kelly. Joyce graduated as salutatorian of Chestertown Central School in 1941. She served honorably in the Navy in the waves during World War II. She married Lloyd “Bud” Jones on April 21, 1946 in the Brant Lake Wesleyan Methodist Church and enjoyed 54 years together before his passing on December 13, 2000.
