Obituary of Colleen S. Klass

Please share a memory of Colleen to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Diamond Point: Colleen Klass, 54, of Nellie Lane, passed away Friday, December 16, 2016 at her home. Born January 31, 1962 in Cleveland, Ohio, she was the daughter of Gloria (Reardon) Slattery of Cincinnati, Ohio, and the late James Slattery. Colleen was full of it, full of love for her family and friends, full of life, full of laughter, and full of fun. She attended Miami University in Ohio, and worked in many fields including interior design. Most recently she applied her tremendous organizational skills to the offices of Vascular Health Partners. But her true passion was her family. She loved a good party, and sure knew how to throw one. On any given summer day she could be found gathering up a gang to spend the day on the lake. And on any given night she could be found telling stories and howling with laughter. Most of all, she loved watching everyone enjoy themselves and would go out of her way to include everyone in a good time. She is survived by her husband, Charles Klass of Diamond Point; children Max, Charlotte and Lily; siblings Jim, Bob, Mary, Tim, Mike, Nancy, Bill, Katie and Kevin; and mother Gloria. Colleen wasn’t much for formalities, but she did love a good party. No formal funeral or services will be held at her request, but on a sunny summer day we will celebrate her life and toast to her memory. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations in Colleen’s memory to the Adirondack Center for Loon Conservation. Please visit www.alexanderfh.net for online guestbook and condolences.
