Obituary of Rosemary Wray Rossner

North River Rosemary Wray Rossner, 72, of Harvey Rd., formerly of Pottersville, died on Thursday, June 22, 2006, following a long illness. Born on October 5, 1933 in Albany, she was a daughter of the late Weldon and Hannah (Wray) Tibbetts, Sr. Rosemary was married to her husband of 50 years, Neal Rossner, on July 23, 1950. Neal passed away on August 21, 2000. The couple lived in East Greenbush before moving to Lewis, where they started 3 Way Truck, a few years later they moved the business to Pottersville and operated it for over 30 years, finally retiring in 1999. Rosemary was a member of the Gore Mt. Senior Citizens and the Queen Village Order of the Eastern Star, # 825. She also enjoyed playing cards, bingo and collecting elephants. Rosemary loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Weldon Tibbetts, Jr. Rosemary is survived by her children, Edythe Monroe and her husband, John of North River, Deborah W. Pulsifer and her husband, James of Lewis, Darlene Stowell of Schroon Lake and Cal Rossner and his wife, Nancy of Cody, WY; grandchildren, Zachary Monroe and his wife, Clarissa of Glens Falls, Quentin Monroe of North River, Kendra W. Pulsifer of Troy, Colby Pulsifer of Lewis and Elizabeth W. Stowell of Bolder, CO; a sister, Martha Crissafulli and her husband, Sam of Westerlo; one brother, Wray Tibbetts of Rensselaer; several nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service to celebrate Rosemary's life will be conducted at 4:00pm, Monday, June 26, 2006, at the Alexander Funeral Home, Inc, 4479 State Rt. 28, North River, with Richard Nims and Gaylord Campbell officiating. There are no calling hours scheduled. Burial will take place in Pottersville Cemetery.
