Warrensburg: Daisy J. Alger, 72, of Warrensburg, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 03, 2010 at the Adirondack Tri-County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in North Creek, with her loving family by her side. Born in Bolton Landing on July 5, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Mary (Walker) Belden. Daisy was a lifelong resident of the area. She met Clarence R. Alger in 1967 and the couple wed on November 8, 1968 in Bolton Landing. Daisy enjoyed listening to music, watching movies, and traveling the countryside with her husband, Clarence. She loved to spend time with her family and enjoy the great outdoors. Besides her parents, Daisy is predeceased by her brother, Carl Belden and sister, Mabel Moffitt. She is survived by her beloved husband of 43 years, Clarence Alger, Sr. of Warrensburg; her son, Clarence Alger, Jr., of Warrensburg; her daughter, Mary Robinson and her husband, David of Warrensburg; her step daughter, Stormy Isabel of Fonda; half-sister, Betty Belden of Queensbury; cousin, Hilda Alexander and her husband, Jack of North Creek; and her four cherished grandchildren: David, Jr., Christopher, April, and Adam Robinson, all of Warrensburg. At Daisy’s request, there are no calling hours scheduled. Services will be conducted privately at the convenience of the family.
