William W. Conlon, 70, of Edwards Hill Road, passed away unexpectedly, Sunday, April 2, 2017, at Glens Falls Hospital.
Born January 11, 1947 in Hague, he was the son of the late Ernest and Carrie (Dunkley) Conlon.
Bill honorably served his country in the United States Army, where he was stationed in Germany.
He was employed by Adirondack Portable Custom Crushing in Johnsburg,
In addition to his parents, Bill is predeceased by his infant grandson, Zachary Smith, and his siblings, Roberta Conlon, Ruth Ives, Mabel (Pat) Remington, John Conlon, and Frank Conlon.
He is survived by his eleven children, Alonzo (Maureen) Conlon, Fabiann (Amanda) Conlon, Shawn (Penny) Warrington, Nichole (Richard) Conlon, Billy Conlon, Ashley (Josh) Conlon, Kelsey (Stephen) Conlon, Dillon Conlon, Jamie (Mike) Perry, and Shane Karpensky; 22 grandchildren; siblings, Katherine Ross, Fletcher Conlon, Doris Dunkley, Richard Conlon. He also leaves behind the mothers of his children, Kjerstia, Denise, and Linda, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
Bill's family would like express a heartfelt thank you to the Warrensburg and North Warren rescue squads and Cyndi Mandolare, who stopped to offer assistance until the ambulance arrived.
Friends may call on Bill’s family from 4 to 6 pm, Monday, April 10, 2017, at the Sodom Community Church, Bakers Mills.
A memorial service will immediately follow the visitation at 6 pm, Monday, at the church with Rev. Ronald Allen, Pastor officiating.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations in Bill’s memory to a charity of one's choice.
