Please share a memory of Thomas to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Diamond Point: Thomas Hawley Passaro, 58, of Lake Shore Drive, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at the Saratoga Center for Rehabilitation following a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. Born October 10, 1956 in Patterson, NJ, he was the son of the late Anthony and Emma (Hawley) Passaro. Following his graduation from Bolton Central School in 1972, Tom began his employment with D.A. Collins as a truck driver before purchasing his own rig. He was an owner/operator for several years until taking a job with Swift Trucking; during this time, he traveled most of the United States and learned of several roads that should not be traveled in a big rig. He eventually moved back to the Adirondacks and worked as a professional photographer. He is survived by his brothers, Frank Passaro of Diamond Point and Anthony Passaro, Jr. of San Francisco; his son, Christian Passaro and his step-daughter, Melissa Turner and her son of Anderson, SC; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. At Tom’s request, there are no calling hours or funeral services scheduled. Services will be conducted privately at the convenience of his family. Tom’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the doctors and nurses at Saratoga Hospital as well as the Saratoga Center for Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing for the compassionate care given to him during his illness.
