I have loved Carnata "Candie" (Dalaba) Bacon all of my life, & her heaven going is celebrated with rejoicing, but I share the grief of her loss as well, with family, friends & neighbors. Candie's youngest child & my eldest were simultaneously babes in our arms... Verna Jean & Rebekah Jeanne... Aunt Candie taught me a tip she had learned from the "Cosmopolitan Magazine” while I was a young teen... it worked heavenly all through my life so far... Thank you Aunt Candie... she hiked with us through her father John Dalaba's farm on frequent nature hikes, teaching much about our world... by my observation she endured some hardships, like living in Herb Allen's dirt-floor car-garage, & made it work for that brief duration... I loved Johnny Bacon, her fascinating husband, a free spirit, with wind in his sails & on his way to his next fortune, he sold their brand new home on Edwards Hill Road by the Stream, that he had built for her & they traveled all the way to Buffalo NY... she was more excited about this venture than he was... Candie loved her childhood, her husband, her family, her mother & father (her father had died in 1951ish,) & her own children (she wanted near & dear)... She was very special to most who knew her! She was a playmate, in truth, with my siblings & me loving, playful, & caring... Candie entertained us quietly, most interestingly! We loved her coffee-cup fellowships!

Over the years our family has lost touch with each other but I remember coming to your house to visit as a teenager and always how welcome your Mom made us all feel. Keep her memories alive in your heart and it will help heal the loss you feel now. Our thoughts and prayers are with your entire family at this difficult time.
God Bless Carl and Judy.
Your father and my (Carl) mother were brother and sister.

Candy was a very well-loved matriarch of a large and devoted family. After knowing Candy for over 25 years, it will be a little lonelier in North Creek now that she is gone. On behalf of everyone at the North Creek Health Center I extend my sincere condolences to Verna, Deb and the rest of the family.
