North Creek/ South Glens Falls: Cynthia L. Clemons, 90, formerly of North Creek and South Glens Falls, passed away, peacefully, Monday, July 21, 2008 at the Pine at Glens Falls. Born May 5, 1918 in Solvay, NY, she was the daughter of the late Byron and Amy (Halstead) Lyon. Cynthia resided in the Syracuse area for many years until the mid 1950’s. She was an avid reader and church member. She is predeceased by her siblings, George and Carl Lyon and Ruthharriet McCarthy. She leaves behind her children, Joel Beaudin and his wife, Nancy of North River, Daniel Clemons and his wife, Ilona of Maryland, Gail Marie Jones and her husband, Frank of South Glens Falls; four grandchildren, six great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Cynthia’s family from 4-6 pm Thursday evening at the Alexander-Baker Funeral Home, 3809 Main St., Warrensburg. A service of remembrance to celebrate her life will follow the visitation at 6 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Regina Haag, of the Adirondack Friends Meeting House officiating.
