Euless, TX Elizabeth E. “Betty” Britton of Euless, TX passed away at Universal Health Resources Hospice on Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at the age of 83. Betty was born Elizabeth E. Travers on January 26, 1927 in New York City. She was the daughter of the late William and Katherine (Sullivan) Travers of New York City. Following her marriage to John Britton, the couple moved to Staten Island, where they brought up their daughter Elaine and remained till 1993. She was preceded in death by her sister, Margaret Reap; and brothers: William Travers and James Travers. She is survived by her daughter, Elaine DeAngelo and her husband Dan of Colleyville, TX; her Grandson, Chris DeAngelo and his wife, Sabrina of Dayton, OH; and also her sister, Anna Martin of New Jersey. There are no calling hours scheduled. A Memorial Mass will be conducted at 9 am, Saturday, May 29, 2010 at St. Cecilia’s Roman Catholic Church, Main Street, Warrensburg. Rite of Committal will follow in St. Cecilia’s Cemetery in Warrensburg.
