Obituary of Donald Ralph Moffitt

Warrensburg: Donald Ralph Moffitt, 64, of Hudson Street, passed away Sunday, May 24, 2015 at his home. Born July 2, 1950 in Glens Falls, he was the son of the late Edwin ‘Harvey” and Florence Moffitt. Donald attended Chestertown Central School, and was later employed by Northeastern Underlayments. He married Leann A. Raymond on November 15, 2000. Donald enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time at his family’s camp on Pucker Street. Besides his parents, Don was predeceased by a brother, Jack P. Moffitt. In addition to his beloved wife, Leann Moffitt, of Warrensburg, he is survived by two brothers, Richard Moffitt and his wife, Mildred, of Rensselaer and Michael Moffitt of Warrensburg; two sisters, Shirley Younes and her husband, John, of Brant Lake and Mary Hayes and her husband, Charlie, of Galivants Ferry, SC; mother-in-law, Beverly Bolton of Warrensburg. He also leaves behind several extended family members and special friends. At Donald’s request there will be no calling hours scheduled. Friends are encouraged to gather and remember Donald from 5 to 7 pm, Sunday, May 31, 2015 at Ashe’s Hotel & Pub, 85 Hudson Street, Warrensburg.
