Obituary of Susan G. Dunn

Queensbury: Susan Gail Collins Dunn, 45, of Regency Park, North, passed away peacefully, Sunday, May 18, 2008 at Glens Falls Hospital, with her loving family by her side. Born on February 23, 1963 in Corinth, she was the daughter of the late Steve and Roberta (Whittaker) Collins. She grew up in Warrensburg, and attended the Warrensburg School District. She worked at the Stanton Nursing Home in Queensbury for many years. Susan’s favorite pastimes was spending time with her family and shopping. Besides her parents, she was also predeceased by a sister, Elise; two brothers: Forest and Stephen. She is survived by her precious son, Dirk; her loving sisters: Maxine and her husband, Thomas of Tupper Lake; Earlene and her husband, Ross of Warrensburg; Shirley and her fiancée, Gary Ross of Warrensburg; Bonnie and her husband, Alex of Ausable Forks; her twin sister Sandra Irwin and her husband, Philip of Warrensburg; Ethel and her husband, Mark of Minnesota; and one devoted brother, 1st Sergeant Roy Collins and his wife, Tess of Kentucky; 11 nieces and nephews, along with several cousins. Friends may call on Susan’s family from 11 am to 1 pm, Wednesday, at the Alexander-Baker Funeral Home, 3809 Main St., Warrensburg. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 1 pm at the funeral home with the Rev. David Butler officiating. Wally, Philip, Alex, Jason, Josh, and Steven have been chosen as Susan’s pallbearers.
