David and family, Your MOM was one of a kind, always willing to stay after school to help those in need of help, something that just doesn't happen any more. Not only was my teacher in high school but her and your father traveled the same circles later in life, from all the Republican gatherings but with the WCS faculty family. May your memories help you through the difficult days ahead and know that we also shared the same hair dresser and would have some great conversations about the past. Diane

David and family,
I am so sorry to hear of your mother's death. Her attention to punctuation was such a frustration in high school: there was more red pen on my papers than I wanted! However, now I appreciate the education she imparted on a daily basis. I also think of her sitting on the deck at Hickory in the sun to watch you ski. She made a huge difference in so many lives, and will live on with each report written well...

David and family,
Your Mom was always an inspiration to me. She was a true and kind lady. She was a teacher at WCS during my high school years and when I became a member of the Richards Library Board of Trustees, she and I would remember the "good old days at Warrensburg Central". She will forever be remember as a "great friend and teacher". My sincerest sympathy at her passing.

Dear friends and family:
I am among the hundreds if not thousands of people taught by Mrs. Frulla at WCS. She was a wonderful, albeit perfection-oriented teacher. We learned so much from her - including a lifelong, critical love of books and writing. I am sorry for your loss.
Sincerely,
Sally Keene Holmes

Like so many others your Mom left her mark. If we are lucky we have such a good experience in school that we have good teachers to thank. Your Mom was certainly one of mine. My favorite memory though was when she came into the flower shop to pay a bill after the 9-11 disaster. When I asked if David and his family were OK, she responded with a litany of four letter words about the terrorists that I could not imagine she would have known. To this day her humanity still makes me smile!!!

I am sincerely sorry for the loss of your mother.
I have remembered Mrs. Frulla fondly over the years since high school with increasing appreciation for her talented teaching abilities and "no nonsense" approach to English. I work for a law firm as a paralegal and use the skills she taught me every day. She was a great lady and a great teacher. Class of 1977 WCS

I am very saddened by this passing. =(
Jean Frulla taught me the basics of English so I could write effectively. I am a lawyer because of her.
The irony is that I passed my Regents exam in English with a higher grade than even she graded me. She called my Mom to tell her the good news.
Every time I write a great legal brief, I think of you. RIP Jean.

My sincere sympathy.
I remember the first time I delivered a message at FUMC many years ago and your mother met me on the way out and informed me with a big smile on her face, that she gave me an A in diction. I am not a graduate of Warrensburg Central, but I do understand that was high praise coming from her.
God bless you as you celebrate your mother's life and grieve her loss.
